Catholic education is an investment in your child that reaps many benefits. Last year, it cost almost $5,000 to educate a student at St Linus Catholic School.

The Parish supported the education of each child registered in our school, contributing an average of $1,500 per student.

Fundraising activities, such as the Annual School Raffle, added about $100 to the subsidy for each child, thus reducing the per-student tuition cost for each family to $4,150 for the first student. (Rates per student decrease with additional children per family).

St Linus Catholic School is an important part of the mission of the parish, and we value each family’s commitment to their faith, and their sacrifice on behalf of their children.

  • The St Linus Parish community as a whole is generous in support of school events & fundraisers, as well as with direct donations to the school.
  • Tuition Assistance Grants are available through the Archdiocese of Detroit.
  • The SCRIP Tuition credit program is open to all families, friends, and parishioners. SCRIP is a national program that makes a percentage donation to school based on your purchase of gift cards for local and national merchants, services and restaurants. That donation is divided between your tuition account and the school’s operating account. There are a number of families who use this program and receive $100 or more toward tuition every year! For more information about SCRIP, refer to the SCRIP link under “Family Involvement.”
